Doggy Peanut Butter
and Carrot Cake Recipe!
This is a wonderful dog peanut butter cake recipe. It makes one 8" cake that will brighten any pawty! Your dog and doggy guests will be begging for more! Peanut Butter is the #1 favorite flavor of dogs!
INGREDIENTS: Use at Room Temperature
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter, smooth or crunchy
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shredded carrots
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup honey
Makes 1 8" Cake
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease and flour or spray with Baking Pam an 8" cake pan or any one of our Bone and Paw Baking Pans
Sift or whisk flour and baking soda together in a separate bowl, set aside.
Mix together in mixing bowl: peanut butter, vegetable oil, vanilla, honey, egg, and shredded carrots, - mix until well blended and fluffy - about 3 minutes.
Add flour mixture to wet mixture and mix until well blended, scraping down sides.
In prepared baking pan, pour batter and bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick poked in the middle comes out clean.
Let cool for 5 minutes, turn out on wire rack and cool completely.
Puree 16 oz cottage cheese and 1 tbls honey in blender, frost cake and decorate with chopped peanuts.
Whip together (until fluffy and smooth):
- 8 oz low fat cream cheese,
- 6 oz low fat (not light as artificial sweetener isn't good for animals) vanilla custard yogurt,
- 1 tbls honey
This mix is stiff enough to use with a decorating tube!
